Syncrophi Systems Ltd was established in 2007. In addition to Founder investment the company is financially backed by venture funds, private investors and the Irish Government (via Enterprise Ireland). It is dedicated to developing informatics systems for deployment in healthcare settings. The company has maintained a certified medical-grade Quality Management System (ISO13485) since 2008 and all of its product development work complies with the Medical Device Software Standard (EN62304). Its KEWS300 product is CE-marked in compliance with the EU’s Medical Device Directive and is also FDA-cleared. The company is based in Galway, in the heart of Ireland’s medtech hub.

With over 35 years technology company experience ranging from military avionics, through consumer electronics and latterly medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics and medical software David brings a wealth of experience to Syncrophi. He focussed on the medical sector from 1992, holding senior executive roles in Bausch+ Lomb, Boston Scientific Corporation and Alere Inc. David now leads the Syncrophi Systems team dedicated to the development of software products that can make a real difference where it counts most: at the point-of-care.
Syncrophi is also a core member of the international Diginewb consortium. This is a 4-year, fully-funded project to research and develop an improved monitoring system for neonates and pre-term infants in a NICU environment. http://www.digi-newb.eu/
