KEWS300 is a fully-validated, independently certified medical software system approved for use in hospital settings throughout the EU and the USA. It is HL7 compliant and ‘vendor-neutral’. It is a Client: Server system operating over WiFi and Ethernet. The system’s clients can interface directly with the ward-based vital-sign equipment in use by the caregivers. Its server (or VM) can interface with the elements of the HIS, such as PAS or EHR, either via query-retrieve or ADT listener mechanisms. Where no EHR is in use the system can utilise a separate file-server to provide authorised users with remote access to patient observation charts. All data is encrypted and all access is password protected.
